Watermelon Sorbet


This is just good. Easy, fresh and good. You need this on a hot summer night to cool you down, it is just that refreshing. This is also just as good with other melons. We love it. True story.



Watermelon Sorbet




a small watermelon

1/2 cup greek yogurt

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice




Cut your small watermelon into small chunks (discarding rind), and freeze. When frozen, put into a food processor with 1/2 cup yogurt, 2 tablespoons sugar and the 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Process until just smooth, being careful not to let it become watery. Transfer to a shallow glass dish and freeze for about an hour. Take out and mix edges to middle to mix frozen parts evenly. Do this 1 more time then scoop into dishes. So so good.
