Persimmon Cranberry Sangria


Christmas is upon us, as in happy day before y'all! But man, did it get here fast? Again. So now it is Christmas day and it's your turn to cook and have the crowd over so ....... You know how you're cooking in the kitchen all day and then everyone arrives and eats everything in like a millisecond? Well, this sangria is when you are doing all that cooking and you're hot and just a bit weary but still in that Christmas good cheer but maybe or maybe not would love something cool and refreshing to drink? We got you covered, this is it. Oh and sure go ahead and share it with your guests, if there is any left that is 🙂

                                                  Persimmon Cranberry Sangria


  • 1 bottle red wine (we used a pinot noir)
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 persimmons, cut into small wedges
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 orange, cut into wedges


  1. Combine everything in a large pitcher or sangria bowl and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or overnight before serving.
