Parmesan Twists

These are easy folks and look very fancy so come on, go buy yourself some puff pastry and make these! We think they are awesome as a starter with a nice olive tray and a glass of wonderful dry white wine. We guarantee you'll eat about half of these right out of the oven......

Parmesan Twists


1 17.3-ounce package frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan (6 ounces)(or finely grated sharp cheddar)
1 tablespoon
sea salt
Heat oven to 400° F. Lay out puff pastry. Cut the puff pastry lengthwise into 24 strips.
Brush each strip with the egg and sprinkle with the Parmesan and sea salt. Twist the strips, place on baking sheets and bake until puffed and golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
