Parmesan Crisps

This is simply an easy and delicious recipe.  If you love cheese as an addition to anything (!) this recipe is for you. This time we made the crisps to add as an addition to our salad however,  where these crisps really shine is floating a few on top of split pea soup! Man, it’s good. It’s this salty, crunchy compliment to your creamy soup. Yum. Oh and here is a tip:  Make a ton of these, they won’t last long. Just imagine these right out of the oven all cheesy and warm. … . Yeah, that’s right, cheesy and warm – way too hard to resist.

 

  Parmesan Crisps

Ingredients (yep, only one!):

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or cheddar, etc.)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Put a heaping tablespoon of Parmesan cheese on a parchment lined baking sheet and lightly pat down. Repeat with the remaining cheese, spacing the spoonfuls about a 1/2 inch apart.

Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Cool.
