Nutty Crazy Brownies

FullSizeRender-33 These are crazy because they are so good, that's right....crazy good. They're dense and buttery and super chocolately and loaded with nuts - all kind of roasted nuts - plus, added white chocolate chips to boot. You should be making these right now, we have no idea what you are waiting for...... FullSizeRender-22

Nutty Crazy Brownies

2 sticks butter, and a bit more for the pan and parchment paper 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate 1 cup dark brown sugar 4 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup flour 1 cup coarsely chopped roasted nuts (we used almonds, pecans and walnuts)

Butter a 13x9-inch baking pan and line with buttered parchment paper, cut to length of pan with overhang to make it easy to lift out and cut. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In top of double boiler set over barely simmering water, or on low power in a microwave, melt butter, chocolate and sugars together. Cool slightly. In a large bowl or mixer, whisk eggs. Whisk in salt and vanilla. Whisk in chocolate mixture. Fold in flour just until combined. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until shiny and beginning to crack on top. Cool in pan. Lift out and cut. These are actually better the next day but good luck with that. I mean come on, who can resist warm brownies? FullSizeRender-32
