Fourth of July Snickerdoodle Blondies

Happy 4th of July!! Fireworks, family and food!! And…..celebrating :-) You have a picnic to go to, you’ve been delegated a desert this year. We’ve got you covered! Do you love snickerdoodles? Come on, who doesn’t? These blondies are everything that a traditional snickerdoodle cookie is. Maybe better. Perfect for a picnic, perfect for a celebration. Happy 4th y’all !!

 

Fourth of July Snickerdoodle Brownies

 

Ingredients:

 

1 cup butter, melted

2 cups granulated sugar

2 tablespoons milk

2 large eggs

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

1/4 teaspoon salt

Topping

2 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Grease and flour a 13 x 9 pan, set aside.

In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and milk. Add in eggs, stir until combined.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt. Stir into the butter mixture until combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan.

In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Sprinkle over the batter in the pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
